Transforming Systems for Evidence for Policy and Practice: How and Why It Works
Fadel Ndiame is a globally recognized leader in agricultural development and economic policy, with 30 years of experience empowering smallholder farmers and transforming food systems. He joined PASGR from Food Systems Solutions where he was the Chief Executive Director. Previously, he held senior positions at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) as the Deputy President and as a senior policy advisor. He has collaborated with global institutions, researchers, and farmer organizations to enhance smallholder incomes by providing access to inputs, services, and markets.
A Senegalese national, Prof Ndiame holds a PhD in Sociology of Rural Development from Wageningen Agricultural University, a MSc degree in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University and a MSc in Economics from the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Senegal. A certified MetaCoach, he is a thought leader and influencer in the fields of agriculture and rural development.
In addition, Fadel serves as a Professor of Practice at McGill Center of Convergence between Health and Economics (MCCHE) in Canada where he shares his extensive expertise in agriculture and rural development.
Prof Ndiame’s leadership is instrumental in building on PASGR’s past achievements and guiding the organization into an exciting chapter aligned to its strategic direction.
