
Hon. Isaac Mwaura, CBS is the current Government Spokesperson of the Republic of Kenya. He has held several senior public service positions, including, Chief Administrative Secretary in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary, Senator (2017-2022) representing Persons with Disabilities, and Member of Parliament (2013-2017). He has also served as Founder and Chairperson of the Kenya Disability Parliamentary Association (KEDIPA), where he championed disability inclusion and legislative reform.
Mwaura has played a key role in shaping national discourse on inclusion, human rights, and citizen engagement, earning recognition as a leading advocate for marginalized communities in Kenya.
He holds a Bachelor of Education (Special Education, French, and Japanese) from Kenyatta University, a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Nelson Mandela University, and a Master of Arts in Social and Public Policy from the University of Leeds. He also holds a Diploma in Public Relations Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.
