
Reimagining Africa's Evidence‑to‑Action Ecosystem
Mr. Beavogui is a former Prime Minister of Guinea (2021–2022) and retired United Nations Assistant Secretary-General. He was the first elected Director General of the African Risk Capacity (2015–2020) and previously held senior roles at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). He chaired the United Bank for Africa in Guinea and now serves as Executive Board Chair of the African Capacity Building Foundation and sits on the Boards of AfricaRice and WaterAid International. He teaches and advises on geopolitics, development finance, and food security. He has received multiple awards and international distinctions.
