Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu, currently serving as the Government Statistician, is a seasoned macro/development economist with over 20 years of experience in economic policy and management.He holds a PhD and a Master's in International Development Studies from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, an MPhil in Economics, and a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana. Dr. Iddrisu has served as the Director of the Economic Strategy & Research Division at the Ministry of Finance since 2013, where he provided high-quality research and policy advice to guide Ghana's macro-fiscal policies. He has also held other key management positions within the Ministry of Finance and has been instrumental in shaping national economic strategies.
