Wilfred Kofi Yevoo

Accountant

Wilfred Kofi Yevoo is a finance and accounting professional with close to ten years of experience across the petroleum, donor-funded, and non-profit sectors. He joins ICED with strong expertise in financial management, donor compliance, and systems improvement.

Wilfred previously worked as a voucher examiner (accounts payable) with USAID West Africa and the U.S. Embassy in Accra, where he processed vouchers, managed reconciliations, and statutory reporting, strengthening financial compliance and improving efficiency. In the petroleum sector, he served as Finance Manager and Credit Control Officer with Cardinal Petroleum Ltd., overseeing multi-subsidiary accounts, cash flow management, and pricing strategies. More recently, as a volunteer accountant for the House of St. Francis Rehabilitation Centre, he led the transition from Excel-based reporting to QuickBooks, improving accuracy and donor confidence.

He holds an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana Business School, and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG).

At ICED, Wilfred is eager to apply his skills to strengthen financial accountability, support program delivery, and contribute to ICED’s mission of advancing research and sustainable development in Africa.
