Michael Muli Nzau has decade-long experience in business development, grants management, project management, and strategic partnerships across East Africa's development and academic sectors. Over the years, he has led resource mobilization and fundraising efforts for various development programs funded by leading global institutions including USAID, the European Union, the Mastercard Foundation, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, AGRA, UN Habitat, and IDRC in Sub-Saharan Africa, among others. His professional experience spans senior roles at ChildFund International and Strathmore University, where he secured over USD 8 million in competitive funding over the course of his career, established centralized grants functions, strengthened local partner capacity, and supported community-based organizations across Kenya. Some of the previous programs supported by Michael cut across areas on livelihood and food security agriculture, women and youth economic empowerment, financial inclusion, child protection, education, health, and policy advocacy.
