Emmanuel Ofosu is an accounting and finance professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and is currently pursuing professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). He has experience in accounting, taxation, budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and financial management, with a strong interest in financial controls, operational efficiency, and organisational development.
Emmanuel currently serves as Finance, Operations, Protocol & Logistics Assistant at the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED), having transitioned from his National Service role into permanent employment with the organisation. In his current position, he supports finance and administrative operations, financial documentation, statutory compliance, budgeting activities, and protocol and logistics coordination to facilitate the effective implementation of organisational programmes and activities.
His professional experience includes supporting financial record-keeping, preparing and reviewing financial information, assisting with budget monitoring, processing statutory deductions and contributions, coordinating payments, and contributing to day-to-day financial and operational activities. Through his work, he continues to develop practical expertise in financial management, internal controls, compliance, and administrative coordination.
Emmanuel is proficient in QuickBooks, Tally and other ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. He also brings strong organisational and time-management skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and continuous professional development.
