Aubrey Chalira Phiri

A Malawian national, is currently chief financial consultant for ICED. He is highly qualified and an internationally experienced fund executive within the NGO and retail banking sectors with an outstanding record of achievement supporting the delivery of major grant and stakeholder management programmes to drive economic and environmental performance across regions and Member African States. With over 20 years of experience, in financial operations and management spanning several African countries including his recent assignment with The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) as chief finance and operations officer & Interim Executive Manager for the African Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF). Previously he spent five years with the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) which he joined in 2010 as CFO. Before ACBF, Aubrey worked at Standard Bank of South Africa, which he joined in 2004 as senior finance manager responsible for East and West Africa region. During his time at Standard Bank, he held various executive positions within Standard Bank Africa business unit, including CFO for Stanbic Bank Botswana and later Zambia.
