Gender Equality

“If you give an education to a girl, that’s how you’re changing her life and that’s how you’re also changing the world.”

Malala Yousafzai

Women and girls make up half the world’s population, which also makes them half the contributors to the success of the world. Research has shown that empowered women and educated girls are a significant indicator of a nation’s economic success. Great strides have been made in the fight towards gender equality but the journey to fully applied equality for women and girls is still long. Including women in business, political leadership, quality education, and other such aspects of development is considered a human right by the United Nations.
